Brief description of the lecture:
Solid materials in the environment including minerals and artificial materials. Mineral forming processes in the human-affected and geological environment: similarities and contrasts. Systematics of the environmentally important minerals. Mineralogical aspects of palaeoclimate and provenance analysis. Climate indicator clay and alumina minerals and their diagnostics.
