Brief description of the lecture:
The aim of this analytical course is that mainly the MSc, PhD students and the researchers working in the field of geosciences and environmental sciences acquire expertise in the spectrometric analysis of x-ray fluorescence. The course consists of a comprehensive theoretical module and a practical module where students learn the application of the devices. The course is ended with an exam. Those who succeed in the exam gain the legitimacy to use the HORIBA Jobin-Yvon x-ray fluorescence spectrometer of the Department of Mineralogy, Geochemistry and Petrology. The course is hold in spring semesters and in block time format.
